Unlike many strategic planning consultants, we strike a balance between crafting a well thought out strategic vision and objectives and developing highly specific, short term action plans to achieve them.
We believe strongly that strategic planning, when professionally done, can lead to more effective management of the operation “come Monday morning.”
Further, we believe that a plan’s success depends on:
- Clearly articulated strategic objectives
- A well defined team and individual responsibility for achievement
- Responsibility for achievements assigned to each individual in the team
- An accountability system that proactively manages and monitors this effort
- An internal culture that promotes commitment, personal responsibility, and accountability
We operate on a management by objectives basis; we believe it is far and away the most effective means of assuring our clients’ ultimate success.
Once developed, the strategic objectives cascade through all functional units
of the bank.
After the strategic objectives are finalized, we initiate and maintain a “rolling” strategic planning process, featuring quarter by quarter action plans, and an overall plan/review every three months.
